Oh man, never expected ace camp to be such a nightmare...
Generally, the whole area is infested with pests and insects, lots... I mean LOTS of them!!!
Upon reaching Kluang, i went to the toilet and guess wad i saw? 8 mosquitoes in the cubicle itself! Oh gosh... Upon reaching back, there are spiders crawling on my backpack... Okay, the sun was scorching hot, most people got sunburnt... I just got blacker... Okay, back to the long dairy entry, went back to my tent, it looked alright, everything looked fine... So we climb up this hill, 100m away from my tent to the assembly area(Like 7times per day). We had LUNCH!!! Fooodddd.... Alright, that's when all the er xin part came in... Our food are infested with HOUSEFLIES!!! Ya know, the irritating quite big size housefly!!! And their small little faeces on our food!!! Yikes, barely finished my food... Then we ought to wash our own dishes, and it gotta be approved by the ace leaders.
First day activity, CANOEING!!! It's so fun!!! Although i was team with Chin Hao, it turn out quite well... The beautiful scenery... Waaaahhh.... After that, we didn't get to bath, so we bath ourselves with powder! (Powder bath) Haha, the fun part... Voluntarily Simplicity(VS, which is our class Force) was the only class with topless guys! Yar, we took off our shirt and ran around... Haha, it was kinda fun...
After dinner, we got this nightwalk thingy... Which is basically walking in the forest... In a group... With no light(including torch light)... Haha, was kinda scared at first but later, it was fun... The feeling of being with my class... It was fun... Lolz, and i was stretching out my fingers to see if i can see them, i can! The night sky was marvellous... It's dotted with stars... Many Many of them... And the north star isn't just a star, it's an arrow shape made up of 3 stars, pointing to a direction...
Sleeping in the tent was horrible, was bitten like siao on my sole... Wake up in the middle of the night and heard horse neighing... My friend heard the donkey Yioooh sound but i was too blur to notice it... Killed 4 mosquitoes in my tent in the morning...
Okok, shud simplify everything... Too luo suo le...
2nd day, forest survival skills (build a shelter, collect water, dig a shit hole campfire hole)- Nearly burnt down Kluang, met the Jungle man, Mountain/Hill Climb (Damn steep slopes, used ropes, roots, rocks to pull urself up)- Scenery not worth it, I fell down
3rd day, Rafting (Supposed to build a raft, go across the muddy pond, carry someone to a evacuation area, cross the pond with ropes) Learnt how to tie knots- Our raft survive the longest, broke when someone sat on the barrels, i survived, fell into muddy water later, and save the paddle which is like 1m away from shore, met starhub guy
Orentiaring(Spelt like that?) (Navigate, learn about the north star, Something like treasure hunt)- Classmates can't be trusted, I lost a bottle of COKE!!! Won M&Ms =)
Campfire, we performed something damn lame... Lolz... Kinda stupid- Saw distress signal, fire was pathetic
last day, Abseiling and Brussy Climbing (Erm, i'm not sure) Yeah, get the idea, those who laugh upon hearing it kena pumping... (Climb up a pillar, walk down a pillar)- Dirty my track pants!!! Darren fell down a height of a floor when he shouted KIA TUCK! (Biggest joke), met the prison guy
Haha, went home tired, shacked... At least i learnt lotsa stuff... My class are paranoid over sandflies, All guys are pervertic in a way(after conversation with stuart)... And I got bitten like 20+ times...
I was thinking about you... Sigh... Sorry...
